ActiveAge
ActiveAge is a BusinessLab collaborative research programme.
The aim of the programme is to research the key issues of an ageing society and as a result of the findings, develop innovative solutions that will inform and improve competitiveness and service delivery at a corporate, regional and national level.
In 2005 BusinessLab initiated the process of exploring the implications of global demographic change, and more specifically, the opportunities presented by the innovative application of ICT. In close collaboration with Professor Joseph Coughlin, the world-renowned expert on ageing and technology, the ActiveAge Programme was launched.
