Founded in 1998 in Aberdeen, BusinessLab is one of Scotland's leading change management research boutiques. The company specialises in the development of tools and processes for government, business and communities. Key research themes are digital business, organisational learning, active ageing, community capacity and electronic service delivery.

Over the last 10 years BusinessLab has built a series of collaborative research consortia, resulting in tools and processes that are now being deployed in a number of territories. Its partners are United Kingdom and international governments, local authorities, economic development agencies, urban regeneration companies, international corporations, universities and community organisations. The company is owned and managed by its principals.
