By Rail/Metro:
Traveling times to Newcastle are 2hr 45 minutes from London King's Cross and 1 ½ hours from Edinburgh. Newcastle Civic Centre is a 20 minute walk from Newcastle's Central Railway Station and Metro underground system. Trains run every few minutes to stops around the city and the North East. Haymarket Metro Station is a 2 minute walk to Newcastle Civic Centre.
By Air:
Newcastle International Airport is just 6 miles from the city centre, 15 minutes by car, and has connecting scheduled flights to all major UK airports. A direct Metro link is also available.
