Supporting Families in Hull The Family Learning Signature has been supporting Schools in Hull for 5 years, working in particular with Headteacher Kevin Beaton from Sydney Smith School who has pioneered the deployment of the Signature in Hull. The team at Sydney Smith School have extensive experience in deploying the Signature and are now working with their feeder primary Schools to ensure that support for every family with children in transition from primary to secondary school is tailored as a result of its unique Family Learning Signature. As a result of the success of this model, the Family Learning Signature is now being rolled out citywide to include a range of other High Schools and the primaries they support. Part of this growth will involve the development of a bespoke family learning curriculum, using Signature data to identify key challenges and appropriate support for Hull families on a wider basis. |
