Working With Families

Family Learning is increasingly being recognised as central to children's education. Partnerships between schools and families are actively promoted and encouraged, benefiting the child, the family and the school, and even the wider community.

Learning is no longer seen as solely the responsibility of the school. The benefits of a complementary learning environment in the home and family involvement are recognised as playing a large part in children's learning and development. Children are more likely to be successful learners when the school and the family work together to achieve this.
